    Too Old to Tweet

    Sara writes:

My husband has lost his mind. He is 37 years old and acting like he is a teenager. It all started a few months back when his buddies put together a band. Now he is out every night until three o'clock in the morning and leaving me home with the kids.

To make matters worse the lead singer in the band is like 20 years old and I think he is falling in love with her! It's really gotten out of hand because the band is getting work because of this girl and he is focusing more on playing music than he is his job! He has a myspace page and he is twittering all day long and it is driving me crazy! What should I do to make him come to his senses, he is acting totally ridiculous!

    MR. GOODADVICE RESPONDS:

I love it! Who says enjoying life ends at a certain age? Instead of being so angry you should be finding ways to share your husband's success and happiness. Try getting a baby sitter and going to his next show. Loosen up lady and have some fun!

Too often we simply stop having fun in life and simply "run out the clock". The bottom line is that your husband is happy! Try and find some happiness of your own. You husband needs your encouragement, so stop trying to break his spirit. You seem to be bored and jealous. Don't take it out on someone who has figured out that life is meant to be lived!

I doubt he will leave you for some 20 year old girl. At most he is reliving a part of his past and admires her talent. Find something to do that will show him that there is something more to you than bitching and moaning! Put on a nice outfit and go rock with your husband, otherwise you will lose him. However it won't be because of a young girl singing with him, it will be because of the "old lady" living in his home!
