    They Keep Grabbing My Ass!

    Add to Twitter

    Jenny Writes:

I am a young girl who works around a lot of older men.  I do my job everyday and try not to cause any problems.  These older guys don't take me very seriously and they are constantly flirting with and grabbing my ass.  When I told my boss he basically laughed it off and told me not to be so serious.

I don't look for the attention.  I have a boyfriend and trust me I'm not interested in any of these old guys.  I even where a boring uniform, so its not like I am dressing a certain way or asking for trouble.

I really don't know what to do at this point.

    MR. GOOD ADVICE RESPONDS:

Hey, who told you that uniforms can't be sexy?  I know lots of people who fantasize about their local fireman or UPS driver.  That being said, nobody should be putting their hands on you at work.  It's called sexual harassment and you can get big money in a lawsuit if you are forced to put up with this kind of nonsense.

You did the right thing, you made a report to your supervisor.  Lucky for you he did nothing, so now you can start the ball towards collecting a big fat settlement!  In order to prepare your lawsuit you should start a diary of all the crap that you have to put up with at work.  Write down the name of each and every asshole that puts his hands on you or makes an inappropriate comment.   If you are lucky at least one of these idiots will send you emails containing x-rated pictures or sexual jokes.  Make sure you download all of those emails to a disc and keep them for future reference. (Juries just love those!)

At some point all of this ass grabbing will probably make you sad, or angry or something. You should then make an appointment with a doctor because you will need therapy to show the jury you were injured, I mean to help you get over your sadness, anger or whatever you will be feeling.  (Make sure you feel something!)

Finally, make your way to a lawyer's office and go for the gold!  Make them pay for their game of grab ass.  After all, it's only fair.

The bottom line here is that no one should have to put up with what you are describing at work.  There are laws to protect you and severe penalties for companies that don't have a sexual harassment policy in place.  What you have described here shows that your employer, if they do have a sexual harassment policy, is not implementing and enforcing it properly.  This is not a joke and you have every right to take action to protect your rights under the law.  I suggest you seriously consult an attorney about your rights and how you should proceed in this matter.  What I have written is just what I would do, if I had a nice ass that people wanted to grab at work.  Lucky for me I don't.  (Geez, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.)

If all else fails, tell that punk boyfriend of yours to man up and stand up for his woman! If he doesn't don't let him touch that ass either!

" Lucky for you he did nothing, so now you can start the ball towards collecting a big fat settlement! "

And that, in a nutshell, is what is wrong with America. Your lawsuit-centric mentality and overinflated sense of entitlement. No wonder your country is broke; everyone is busy paying lawyers and settlements.
